Answer. This error is telling you that your journal log is full. First, you need to get to your administration screen and then select “RPTS”. Then select “JRNL”, then select “NEW”. If, after printing the “NEW” journals, you still have the 5002 error then enter the program select “$$$$”, then select “TEST”. After the screen says test successful, then press “CANCEL” until you get back to the welcome screen.
2. I just loaded cash, why do I still have a 5003 error on my machine?
Answer. After putting cash in the cash cassette of the machine, you need to enter into the machine how much money you loaded. To do this you need to go into the “ADMINISTRATION MENU” and Select “$$$$”, then Select “ADD” and type in the full dollar amount. Select “$$$$”, then “TEST”.
3. After loading cash why do I have a 4001 error?
Answer. This error is telling you that your dispenser is not working. Test the printer. If the printer doesn’t work check the power supply. Check the communications cable between RS232 port on the CPU and the dispenser for loose connections or bent pins. Check to ensure the power supply cable is secure on the back of the dispenser. Check the LED on the dispenser Control board. (lights should be flashing). If your ATM has a Puloon dispenser the vault door switch MUST be held in. Enter the administrative menu. (Make sure the vault door is closed and secured.) Select “$$$$”, then select “TEST”. The dispenser should pull one (1) note from the cassette and put it in the reject compartment. The display should flash “Test Successful”. If the test was successful then press, “CANCEL” until the “WELCOME” screen appears. If the test failed, replace the communications cable. Retest the dispenser, if you still have a failure replace the dispenser.

Answer. Before you can clear a 1015 error on a machine, master keys need to be bound to the terminal at the processor.

Answer. To enter master keys in your machine you need to go under the administration menu, select host “CONFIG”, enter your “CONFIG” passwords, and then select “KEY MENU”. Then select the convelope key you want, this key consists of 32 digits, alpha and numeric codes.
6. Are master keys and working keys the same?
Answer. No, master keys are entered at the terminal site, and the working keys are downloaded from the banking network by going into your “ADMINISTRATION MENU” and selecting “DIAG” and then Select “WKEY” this will make the terminal call the banking network.

Then type in how many rings you want the machine to use to pick up the line.

Answer. Most ATM’s use thermal printers and this will only print on one side of the paper.
9. How do I clear a 4004 error on my machine?
Answer. This error means the dispenser is not feeding out bills. First, remove the cassette. Then remove the cash from the cassette and inspect it for folded or torn bills. Put the cassette back into the dispenser. Enter the administrative menu. (Make sure that the vault door is closed and secured). Then select “$$$$”. Then, select “TEST”. The dispenser should pull one (1) note from the cassette and put it in the reject compartment. The display should flash “Test Successful”. If the test was successful, press “CANCEL” until the “WELCOME” screen appears. If the test still fails and you didn’t hear the dispenser running, then you need to check the vault door switch and wiring.

Answer. You can go under the “CONFIG” Select “TERM” then hit enter. You see “Dial tone by pass”. Then type in a "1" to turn it on so the machine will not look for the phone line.
